The track was opened in about 1989 and resprayed in 1997. The Sports Complex building which is adjacent to the track was opened on 5th July 1998 by Councillor Jim Cullimore. The complex facilities which also comprise an artificial and grass pitches are used by Brimsham Green School during the day.
