Other Info:
The track was built in 1985 and has a Spurtan BV synthetic surface. The infield is a football pitch so hammer throwing is not allowed in the winter. The Athletics News Athletic Directory for 1914 mentions a cycle and athletics meeting organised by the Broughton Nursing Association at an unspecified location in Wrexham with the cycle races on a 440y cinder cycle track but the athletics ones on a grass track.
