Other Info:
The track opened in 2017 and is immediately south of the London Stadium (aka Olympic Stadium). The construction of the track was funded by a grant from the London Marathon Trust. Its main purpose is a community track but it also acts as a warm-up if a major athletics meeting is being hosted in the London Stadium. It also effectively replaced the original warm up track for the 2012 Olympics which was immediately to the south of this track but was demolished in 2013.
