Other Info:
This was originally a 160 yard indoor unbanked board track similar to the first Cosford indoor track and was first used on 28th Nov 1957. It was replaced on 23rd Jan 1965 with a 190 yard concrete track. In the late 1960s the board runways were upgraded to a "Portacourt" composition surface. The Welsh indoor champs were held here for several years.
