Other Info:
The track surface is Polytan and was upgraded to synthetic in the last few years. Comparing the depiction of the track on the current OS Explorer map to the now withdrawn OS Pathfinder map 481, the track was definitely smaller than 400m (probably 5 laps to the mile) and was slightly east of the current location at grid reference NS 778101 although the old and new locations do appear to overlap slightly.
