Other Info:
The track is surrounded by a 535m cycle velodrome. The outside lane was repaired in May 2002 and the whole track resprayed. For safety reasons the cycle track cannot be used as the same time as the running one and as the infield is used for American Football, the running track is often booked for other purposes. There is a cafeteria in the attached Mountbatten Centre which is a leisure centre that was opened by HRH Prince Andrew on 24th June 1983 but not sure how old the track is.
