Other Info:
This was a flat 150m tarmac indoor oval track and was in use for a few years in the 1970s. The College used the former RAF station buildings adjacent to what is now Teeside Airport and was very close to the rail halt for the airport. The track was in a converted hangar that was mainly used as a sports hall and there were also some outdoor throws facilities.
