Other Info:
This was a 110 yard concrete track owned by Loughborough University and was situated in a former RAF hangar off Derby Road. The track was first used on 9th Feb 1963. All field events, except SP, were held off concrete runways. The SP was held off a raised board circle. It has now been demolished but in 2003 a new indoor straight will open at the university.
