Other Info:
This straight is not completely indoors as the side nearest to the outdoor track is not covered. The track surface is still the original synthetic dating back to probably 1973 when the outdoor track was upgraded to synthetic and is breaking up but is reported to be usable. Until late 2000 there was a large gap in the roof but this has now been repaired. However the 2004 revamp of the outdoor track will not include any work on the indoor straight.
