Other Info:
The track was an irregular shape as the westerley (first) bend was much more rounded than the other one and the distance round it was about 20 yards longer. The track was originally 440y but apparently one of the bends was subsequently reshaped leading to a slightly different length than the original but possibly not an exact 400m. As of 2001, the track itself was in fair condition and was a redgra surface. It was used by Eton Manor AC in the summer who have their clubhouse 400 yards from the track on Marsh Lane. At the time, they were discussing with the local council about the possibility of installing floodlights to allow winter use. The pavilion at the track was used by the African Caribbean Centre (Waltham Forest) until 1999. This is a different location to the old Eton Manor track in Leyton. The site was redeveloped as the Feel Good Too Sports Centre and opened in Friday 5 October 2018. Although there is no longer a full oval track there is an all-weather 60 metre sprint track.
