Other Info:
A small track is shown on the A-Z and OS map next to the current Cricklefield Stadium. This location is now a grass field which is raised from the present track and in which is situated a DT/HT cage and synthetic JT runway. This area is known as 'redgra' because of the surface it once had for tennis courts which are believed to have been there prior to the Second World War. At some time a small dirt/cinder track was laid out on this area but it was only ever used for training. The track is known to have existed since at least 1967.
