Other Info:
The track was owned by the University of Glasgow who sold the land in 1998 and houses have now been built over it. The position of track is now thought to be occupied by Ascot Avenue. It was reported to be an excellent track in its time and hosted Scottish, Scottish Schools and District etc. Championships up to the mid 1960s. The track was 440y but it is unknown whether it was ever altered to 400m.
