Other Info:
The track is a scruffy red blaes affair which is sometimes used by Maryhill Harriers but more often by football players for warming up. It is in Caldercuilt Playing Field and opposite Maryhill Park and is in the locality of Maryhill and also Summerston. On occasions it has been used for the start/finish of cross country races since it is near lots of open countryside. The location is near the Garscube Sports Complex of the University of Glasgow but is not the Garscube track that was often regularly used until about the 1970s. This one is thought to have been an excellent grass track at Garscadden with no seating or floodlights but had very good changing facilities.
