Other Info:
The track was inside the Shorncliffe Camp military base and was just visible from West Road. It was regularly used before synthetic tracks were built elsewhere in Kent. It was lost in about 2021 when the area started to be redeveloped for housing. The southern and eastern side of the track was roughly where Appleton Road is now, the western side Nearne Way, northern Moggridge Close and centre Cavell Place.
