Other Info:
A sports stadium is shown on the OS Explorer map. Dunoon was the venue of Lachie Stewart's 19,484m 1 hour in 25 Aug 1967 in the Cowal Highland Games which is in UK all-time list. It is mentioned in the book The Four Minute Mile that Roger Bannister raced at Dunoon in the 1950s. It is uncertain whether these races were held at the stadium.
