Other Info:
The track was reopened on 2nd October 1999 by the Mayor of Cheltenham and Alison Curbishley after the track surface had been resurfaced with Polytan PUR at a cost of £185,000. Thanks to donations of £1,800, the stadium has its own Seiko electronic timing equipment. The infield is the rugby pitch of Cheltenham RFC. The adjacent Recreation Centre used to be called Pittville Sports Centre.
