Other Info:
The track opened in 1992 and was built by Laing with the surfacing been done by Recreational Surfaces. The track and adjacent Leisure Centre are on the grounds of The Tabor High School hence the need to check availability during school hours. Although the internal cages are designed for DT or HT, HT is generally not allowed within the track arena due to an incident shortly after the track opened when a hammer landed on the track. The track was remarked in May 2001 by Athletic Markings Ltd.
