A public track is mentioned in Berwick-upon-Tweed in the AW 1962 list of cinder tracks. This was probably at Shielfield Park which opened in 1954 and is the home of Berwick Rangers FC who are the only English club to play in the Scottish league. The track is now used for speedway and the host team is Berwick Bandits. The length of the speedway track is 368m.
