Other Info:
Mary Peters did 16.62 for SP at Ravenhill on 11th June 1966 but the sector was downhill. The venue could have been Ravenhill Park rugby ground. However the Cherryvale track was probably on Ravenhill Road so there maybe some confusion between the two. Have also heard that there was some sort of track at Aquinas School on Ravenhill Road which is another possibility. Ravenhill Park opened in 1880 and has capacity for 20,000 spectators.
