Other Info:
A world record for the women's HJ of 1.74m was set at Cherryvale by Thelma Hopkins on 5th May 1956. There is no oval shown on any current map so it may have been a grass track. The playing fields are believed to be owned by Belfast City Council. Adjacent to this is St. Joseph's College, 518 Ravenhill Road, BELFAST, BT6 0BY.
