Other Info:
The track was originally cinder and in 1999 was visibly in good condition and clearly used by the school but the S/C water jump was largely unusable. The track is believed to be 440 yards and the curbside markings as observed in 1999 supported this. More recent aerial photos suggests that the track now has a grass surface and the LJ/TJ runway has a renewed synthetic surface and JT runway is now also synthetic. There is a pavilion at the track which seems to be just used for storing equipment. The school is about a mile away at Lansdown Road, BATH, BA1 5RG. The track was used for the 100 metres and 600 metres steeplechase in the 1981 UK final of Superstars. It was stated in the programme that the steeplechase water jump was built by the school specifically for the event.
